What information we ask for in this form
Your name, contact details, delivery address, the name and contact details of your Support at Home provider, and anything you tell us about how you’d like your meals delivered.
We don’t ask for payment details, Medicare numbers, dietary or health information, or identity documents.
How it gets to us
Everything you type is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection (the same technology banks use). Nothing is sent in plain text.
Where it’s stored
What you fill in on this sign-up form is stored on servers located in Sydney, Australia, run by our hosting partner Supabase. The databases are encrypted with AES-256 (military-grade) and daily backups are encrypted too. Our website hosting partner Vercel also serves pages from their Sydney region, so everything you type here stays in Australia.
Who can see it
Access is limited to a small number of authorised members of our support team. Logging in requires an emailed link and a code from an authenticator app (a second lock). Every view or download is recorded in an audit log.
Who we share it with
- Your Support at Home provider— so we can verify the meal-delivery portion of your plan and set up your account.
- Our Shopify store— only after your account is verified, and only the information needed to set up your ordering profile (name, email, phone, delivery address). This ordering profile is a separate customer account on our online store, which runs on Shopify. Shopify is a cross-border service provider (servers outside Australia), so this is the only point at which that smaller set of details leaves Australian storage. Everything else you filled in above stays on the Australian servers described in the section above.
We never sell your information and we never share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Completed sign-ups are retained while you’re an active We Feed You customer. Abandoned or incomplete forms are automatically deleted after 90 days unless you ask us to keep them.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything that’s wrong, or delete it entirely. Email support@wefeedyou.com.au and we’ll action it within 30 days.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
